What’s New in 2025?

After an incredible 2024 for WCLL, where we improved field conditions with our own tractor, launched our first Hit-A-Thon event, and made significant strides in player development and league operations, we’re excited about what’s in store for 2025!

Our partnership with the Oakland A’s has been invaluable over the past six years, providing hundreds of thousands of dollars in in-kind donations, including uniforms, hats, tickets, and much more. This year, we are grateful for their continued support through a generous monetary donation. However, as our uniform sponsorship from the A’s concluded in 2024, the WCLL Board has decided to increase the registration fee by $50 in most divisions to help cover the costs of new uniforms and other league needs. The family max will adjust to $600 (formerly $500) with this change.

Additionally, we’re raising the volunteer deposit by $50 to encourage more family involvement in league operations. Completing 10 volunteer hours will allow families to have this deposit fully refunded at the end of the season. We encourage all families to get involved and help us make the season a success!

This year, the volunteer deposit will apply to all families, including those with players solely in Peanuts and Farm divisions, ensuring we have the volunteer support needed across all divisions.

We’re also expanding Select Baseball to additional age divisions, with tryouts scheduled earlier in the season. More details on this expansion will be shared in the coming weeks, and we’re looking forward to a strong start for Select action in WCLL!

• March 1: Opening Day Parade and first games for Majors division

• April 5 - April 13: Spring Break (Mt. Diablo School District)
• April 27: Picture Day / Hit-a-Thon
• Week of May 3: Playoffs start for A, AA, AAA
• May 10: Playoffs start for Majors Division
