The Rebels Select is the travel / tournament extension of WCLL’s house softball program, designed for girls interested in elevated competition, skill development, and championship play. It offers girls ages 10U–14U the chance to play competitive softball with trained coaches and structured practices. Our focus is on building strong fundamentals, developing advanced skills, and preparing players for higher levels of play while fostering a love for the game.

Season: Typically runs July through mid-November.

Tryout Dates: Late April (exact dates TBD)

Practices: Begin late July and are 2–3 times per week, focusing on skill development, game preparation, and conditioning.

Games & Tournaments: Begin September and include 4-5 select weekend Bay Area tournaments and may include local travel team scrimmages.

Coaching: Experienced volunteer and professional coaches committed to teaching both the game and life lessons.

Team Formation: Final number of teams and levels of play offered (10U, 12U, and 14U) will be determined by the number of players trying out and the availability of coaches**.

** Teams will be limited to 11-13 players. Not all players trying out will make a team. Final player selection will be determined by player availability for both practices and games, positive attitude, respect for all coaches, and a desire to learn and improve their skills.
