Score Book Recorder

Thank you for volunteering to support your team and league as a Scorekeeper. This is an important role that helps the league manage game results, as well as maintain player safety. With the support of this guide, other scorekeepers and the league, we hope that you find the scorekeeping to be rewarding and an enjoyable way to stay engaged with the game. There are two approved methods for scorekeeping for regular season baseball and softball. One method is GameChanger app and the other method is the traditional scorebook. During Tournament games, the traditional scorebook method may be required.

Please note: Each game has ONE official Score Keeper usually provided by the home team. The Score Keeper is not obligated or required to share any information with anyone else who may be tracking the game individually.

Only the Umpire in charge of the game and the two managers should request any information relating to the score or the game from the Score Keeper.
